Renew the World Gala in Toronto (March 7, 2012)
The Renew the World Gala will mark the historic 50th anniversary of the discovery of stem cells by Canadian scientists James Till & Ernest McCulloch. Their discovery has revolutionized modern medicine.
This event will officially launch the Canadian Stem Cell Foundation. It will bring together Canada’s leading scientists, influential business leaders, philanthropists and a diverse array of celebrities, entertainment and media personalities, artists, authors and sport icons.
Together we will celebrate a legacy and start the next chapter of Canada’s stem cell story.

This annual event will be held in Detroit, Michigan for 2010—just across the border—and will cover advanced science, commercial perspectives, disease progress reports and in-depth reviews of policy, law, ethics, regulatory issues, and global economic development.
